The ArtLife Ophthalmologic Centre is currently equipped with diagnostic and surgery equipment of the highest quality. The main speciality of the Centre is a laser vision correction surgery from 2007 year. Operations performed with the use of methods SBK LASIK, TransPRK and LASEK allow to get rid of sight defects, such as short-sightedness, far-sightedness and astigmatism and a combination of these defects. Apart from laser vision correction, ArtLife also offers small-scale ophthalmological treatments, qualification tests and specialized examinations including Keratoconus diagnosis.

04.10.2026 - Procedure – Laser vision correction
It has been a month since I had laser vision correction, and the difference is remarkable. My eyesight is improving day by day as my eyes continue to heal. I still occasionally experience some foggy vision or see black lines.
The procedure itself was very quick, although I personally found it painful. However, the pain was bearable and only lasted for a short time. Afterwards, I experienced some eye discomfort, including watering and sensitivity to light. Wearing sunglasses and using eye drops helped to relieve these symptoms.
There is a huge difference between my eyesight before and after the procedure. I have finally been able to say goodbye to my glasses.

13.07.2026 - TransPRK laser vision correction 
Hello, On 3 February 2026, I underwent TransPRK laser vision correction to treat a fairly high level of myopia (-5.75 dioptres). I had been wearing contact lenses for over 20 years. I put off having laser eye surgery for a long time, and I can honestly say that my only regret is not deciding to have it done sooner. I am extremely pleased with the results. Five months after the procedure, I can see exceptionally well. I have to admit that the first month was quite difficult for me, as I turned out to be what doctors call a steroid responder. This means I am particularly sensitive to steroid eye drops, which caused my intraocular pressure to rise very quickly. Thanks to the outstanding care I received at the clinic – especially from the excellent Customer Service Team and Dr Jakub Sadowski, who both performed the procedure and looked after me throughout my treatment – everything was managed professionally, and I am delighted with the outcome. I would also like to thank Dr Mateusz Koberda, MD, PhD, who closely monitored my recovery and provided exceptional care throughout the healing process. I wish there were more doctors and clinics like the ArtLife Centre. One piece of advice for anyone considering TransPRK with a high prescription: I would recommend arranging a longer period of sick leave, around one month if possible. Unfortunately, for the first four weeks I found it difficult to read, whether on my phone or on a computer screen.
