The ArtLife Ophthalmologic Centre is currently equipped with diagnostic and surgery equipment of the highest quality. The main speciality of the Centre is a laser vision correction surgery from 2007 year. Operations performed with the use of methods SBK LASIK, TransPRK and LASEK allow to get rid of sight defects, such as short-sightedness, far-sightedness and astigmatism and a combination of these defects. Apart from laser vision correction, ArtLife also offers small-scale ophthalmological treatments, qualification tests and specialized examinations including Keratoconus diagnosis.
Thanks to excimer laser beams the surface of the cornea is modelled: in case of short-sightedness it is flattened and in case of far-sightedness the laser beam will cause the protrusion of the cornea. As a consequence of the treatment, an image is correctly focused on the retina and a patient’s sight is entirely and permanently improved.
The results of the qualification test decide whether a patient qualifies for laser vision correction. During the qualification test, a doctor examines the structure of the cornea (these parameters are later entered into the laser) and exact values of the defect as well as individual traits of the eye.
Since 2009 we have been offering qualifying examination and laser vision correction surgery in one day procedure mode. 27.02.2026 - SBK LASIK laser vision correction
After 20 years of wearing glasses and contact lenses, it took just 20 minutes to say goodbye to the problem. Having the preliminary qualifying examination and the procedure on the same day is a very convenient option. A follow-up examination is scheduled for the next day after the SBK LASIK procedure — and that’s it. You can see clearly straight away, and in my case the only minor issue was occasional dryness in the eye. I am extremely pleased with my decision and would recommend it to anyone who wears glasses. The staff deserve a medal — everything was quick and efficient.

I have decided to undergo a TransPRK laser vision correction procedure at the ArtLife Clinic. The procedure itself was carried out smoothly and professionally, and the staff were helpful and explained each stage of the process thoroughly. The first 3 days after the surgery were quite painful (burning sensation, tearing), but I had been advised that this is normal in the case of this method. After a few days, everything began to settle. Today, I’m enjoying life without glasses. I would highly recommend the procedure!
