Laser vision correction – what influence does it have on life quality?

16-03-2019

Laserowa korekcja wzroku - jak zmienia zycie? The ability to distinguish fine details, which we used to fail to notice, and the comfort we were previously unaware of. Following a laser vision correction procedure, life gains a new dimension and… new colours. Good eyesight is something everyone who complains of any vision defects has always dreamt of. How can laser vision correction change your life? In fact, as those who have decided to undergo the procedure have experienced themselves, it has an incredible impact on life quality.

“If there is still anyone who does not believe in miracles, it is time they started, as miracles really do happen. I had a refractive error of -11D dioptres in one eye, which has been fully corrected, and the error of -12,5D in the other eye, which has been reduced to -1D. The results of an examination conducted two weeks after the laser vision correction procedure were better than it had been expected. I can finally see!’”- wrote our patient, Anita, a few months after the surgery in the ArtLife Clinic.

You get out of bed and see what time it is on your clock. You see the number of a bus approaching the bus stop from a distance. You can practise any sport you can think of without any difficulties. You do not have to worry about fogged glasses in rainy weather. You no longer experience the discomfort of wearing glasses or contact lenses while travelling. You can distinguish every little detail. You simply see well and your life becomes much more comfortable and much richer, since you have what is the most important – good eyesight.

“I had my SBK LASIK correction two months ago, at the age of 45. Before the surgery my refractive error was -12 dioptres, and I have quite severe astigmatism. Impossible as it may seem, currently my visual acuity is perfect and I only have slight astigmatism in one eye. I wish I had undergone the procedure earlier,” - says another patient, Joanna, which only proves that certain decisions should not be postponed.

Agata, a patient of ours, shares the above opinion: “I strongly advise all those who wear glasses to undergo laser vision correction as soon as possible. A few moments and then you leave the operating room and you can see… Before the surgery I had -4,75 dioptres in one eye and -4,50 dioptres in the other. Now it has been three weeks since the procedure and I feel wonderful. I wake up in the morning, I open my eyes and I can see the time on the clock! Fantastic ;) It goes beyond words, you have to do it and experience it yourself.”

That is exactly what Radek, our next patient, did. He initially decided to have laser vision correction performed only on one eye. However, he returned, because he soon realised, how much life could change following the procedure. “Month after the surgery I came back to the clinic to have the other eye operated on as well.” His decision resulted in tears of joy before the follow-up examination the next day. If you are still sceptical about laser vision correction, I strongly encourage you to visit the ArtLife Centre and see the faces of happy people attending their follow-up examinations the day after the surgery. “The decision to undergo the procedure is one of the best decisions I have ever taken in my whole life,” – these are possibly the best words you can say to someone who is still in two minds about laser vision correction.
