Qualification is a two-stage process.
The first stage is an examination of the eyesight under natural circumstances (without medically induced dilatation of pupils).

pachymeter, autokeratorefractometer, tonometer, topolyser, oculyzer.
This results in a detailed picture of the eye, based on such essential data as the value of the intraocular pressure, the state of physiological protective mechanisms of the eye, the map of the cornea as well as its’ thickness (which is one of the main factors in process of choosing the right method).
Prior to the second stage of the examination, dilating eye drops are applied to enlarge the pupils. Most of above mentioned tests are then repeated to measure subjective and objective refractive error.

The parameters are then transformed into an input for an excimer laser in order to achieve a fully personalised correction. What is more, detailed results help the doctor to find any possible contradictions against the surgery.
After the examination the doctor will be able to indicate the most suitable
method of Laser Vision Correction and to provide a full explanation of the particular method. He will also answer to any questions regarding the procedure.
