Would you like to find out if laser vision correction is right for you?

Many research and clinical studies have shown laser vision correction to be a safe alternative of glasses and contact lenses. Millions of patients worldwide are now enjoying improved vision and quality of life.

Take the following test and find out now:

If you are the right candidate for laser vision correction:

  1. I am short-sighted and my refractive error is -14D or less OR I am far-sighted and my refractive error is +6D or less*
  2. I am at least 20 years of age.
  3. My vision has been stable in the past year.
  4. I am not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  5. As far as I know, my eyes are otherwise fine.
  6. I am not taking corticosteroids, hormonal drugs or any other drugs that might affect wound healing.
  7. I am fed up with my contact lenses or glasses.
* LASIK,SBK LASIK, Epi-LASIK and LASEK do not correct age-related loss of accommodation for near vision (presbyopia), which affects most of the patients over 40 years of age. These patients are forced to wear reading glasses. Presbyopia may be corrected by LAPR (laser-sssisted presbyopia reversal) or by crystalline lens replacement (PRELEX — presbyopic lens exchange).

If your answer to all of the above questions is YES, you may be a good candidate for laser vision correction. If any of your answers is NO or if you don’t know the answer to any of the questions, make an appointment to see our doctor, who will perform specialist tests to tell you if laser vision correction is right for you.

In order to decide whether laser vision correction is right for you the following factors must be determined by the doctor:
  • Corneal thickness
  • Current and past eye diseases
  • Objective refractive error
  • Refractive surgery in the past
You may be sure that the doctor will examine your eyes very carefully and establish their medical history. He will then decide whether you may be offered laser vision correction.

Do not wear your contact lenses on the day of eye examination, and do not drive right after the examination.
